Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new obstetrics and gynecology specialist to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
Erin Thomas, MD, is now accepting patients at FPG’s OB/GYN practice in Waldemere Medical Plaza.
Dr. Thomas treats a variety of obstetrical and gynecological concerns including menstrual irregularities and premenstrual syndrome, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum depression, infertility, sexual dysfunction, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome and hysterectomy. She provides annual preventative care for her patients including pelvic exams, pap smears, and contraception.
Dr. Thomas is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She received her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center/Mount Carmel Health in Columbus, Ohio.
