Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new endocrinologist to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
Janevi Rebernigg, DO, is now accepting patients at FPG’s Endocrinology practices in Venice and Sarasota.
Dr. Rebernigg is fellowship trained in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Dr. Rebernigg specializes in clinical endocrinology including the diagnosis and medical management of thyroid and parathyroid disorders, thyroid nodules, diabetes mellitus and glucose metabolism disorders. She specializes in pre-diabetes and diabetes, complex diabetes treatments including insulin pump therapy & continuous glucose monitoring, pituitary and adrenal gland disorders, Osteoporosis and bone calcium disorders, and Graves’ disease.
Dr. Rebernigg received her medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine Midwestern University, in Glendale, Arizona. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Florida State University – Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System, in Sarasota, Florida. She completed her fellowship in endocrinology, metabolism and nutrition at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board eligible for Endocrinology.
