Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new family medicine doctor to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
Jose Manuel, MD, will be accepting patients at FPG’s Family and Internal Medicine at Pointe Loop practice.
Dr. Manuel provides medical care and manages acute and chronic medical conditions for individuals over 18 years of age. He performs annual wellness exams, as well as comprehensive and preventative screenings. He specializes in chronic conditions such as heart disease, hyper-hypotension, pulmonary/respiratory conditions, diabetes, weight management and osteoporosis.
Dr. Manuel received his medical degree from the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute in Dasmariñas, Cavite, Philippines and completed his family medicine residency at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He is fluent in English and Filipino and speaks conversational Spanish.
